Dr. Susan M. Nasser is a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) and is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Susan Nasser specializes in all patients of all ages, including women’s health, adolescents, adult primary care, and geriatrics. Her special touch with children helps to ease the anxiety with wellness, sick visits, immunizations, and skin allergy testing. Her focus on childhood development brings comfort to parents as she provides recommendations and referrals related to childhood developmental challenges.
Dr. Susan Nasser believes strongly in providing a patient-centered healthcare visit where patients comes first. She has developed a culture in her practice, by example, of serving community and patients with compassion and dignity to all ages. From minor skin conditions, allergies, immunizations for all ages, chronic care conditions including diabetes and hypertension, patients are welcome and cared for.
School physicals exams have been an important service by Dr. Susan Nasser, providing in-office visits as well as on-site physical exams for local sports teams.
As passionate as she is with serving her community of all ages, she is equally passionate and approved by the Federal Aviation administration to provide flight physicals for pilots and students to keep them safely in the air.
Working collaboratively with family nurse practitioners, Simarjeet Manocha PA and Gisela Paredes, FNP-BC, Dr. Susan Nasser can focus on providing extended hours, same-day appointments, phone appointments and remote telemedicine visits.
As “Best” family practice physician in the Antelope Valley for several years, Dr. Susan Nasser and staff continue to focus on a culture of learning, practice improvements with efficiency and effectiveness, and access to care with ease. She opened her medical practice, Family First Family Medical Practice in 2013. Having resided and practiced family medicine in the Antelope Valley since 2004, she is no stranger to the area and the community. For her, the Antelope Valley is a fantastic place to raise her children, enjoy the great outdoors with her husband Dr. Tom Nasser, and where she can offer “world class care” to her patients.

Education / Directorships
After graduation from the University of Wyoming in 1995 with a BS degree in Physiology and Zoology, Dr. Nasser earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California in 2001. She and her husband, Dr. Thomas Nasser of AVORS Medical Group, then journeyed across the country to Toledo, Ohio where she completed a three-year residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Ohio.
Since 2005 she has been an active part of the Children’s Center of the Antelope Valley in Lancaster, California and today serves on the Executive Board of Directors.

I found family first to be an extraordinary caring office. The waiting room is huge with hand painted flowers and grass on the walls in different places. The children's area was separate from the adult waiting area. There was seating for parents in the children's area. This made me feel better because children are often sick when coming to the doctors office. I was treated with respect and kindness by all the staff. I saw Dr. Nasser, she was terrific. She was very kind and patient. I definitely recommend this office for adults as well as children's needs. There are several doctors working at this office.
